FIRST APICS Computer based Exam in Indonesia

IPOMS has successfully organized APICS computer based exam in Indonesia during the third period of August 16-September 13 2014. There are 18 people from the corporate, took part in the exam at the designated exam location in Jakarta.

Overall, the registration process went well, with some small technical hiccups experienced by several registrants. Those problems were solved well, and all participants managed to registere and took the examination.

Computer based exam enable the examinee to see the result right away on the screen after exam. This shorten the waiting period to take the the next exam significantly. You can even take CPIM examinations, 5 days in a row if you wish to.

Periode 4 will start soon. When will you register yourself and become a CPIM and CSCP in Indonesia with IPOMS and APICS?

Hariyanto Salim CPIM, CSCP, is, at present, the President of IPOMS, a not-for-profit organization for professionals in the field of Operations Management in Indonesia. Hariyanto holds his bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Indonesia, and master degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA. He holds CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) and CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professionals) from APICS and also a recognized instructor within the networks. Besides managing the IPOMS, Hariyanto is also giving lectures in System Modeling for Undergraduate and Graduate Students. Professionally Hariyanto is engaged in a long term project with the Business Innovation Center, a private NGO, supported by the Indonesia's Ministry of Research and Technology. Hariyanto is the Business Associate, and Technical Advisor on Systems and IT for BIC. Hariyanto is an expert in the Systems Modeling and Process Simulation using Promodel, Manufacturing Systems, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Systems Engineering and Development.
